Presenting a spectacular katana forged by Horii Toshihide, one of the most respected swordsmiths of the early Showa period. This exquisite blade is not only a testament to traditional Japanese craftsmanship — it is a certified cultural treasure, authenticated by the NBTHK Token Hozon.

Forged in June 1936 (Showa Era) and signed Zuisen Horii Toshihide, this blade comes mounted in luxurious koshirae with a silver dragon motif, symbolizing power, protection, and nobility.


Swordsmith: Horii Toshihide (俊秀)

  • Born Kanekichi Horii, student of Tanekiko Horii & Yutaneaki Horii

  • Adopted into the prestigious Horii swordmaking lineage in 1901

  • Honored with the name “Hideaki” in 1912, later changed to Toshihide in 1933

  • Commissioned by the Imperial Household Ministry

  • Forged swords for Chichibunomiya, Takamatsunomiya, and Higashikuninomiya

  • Held the highest sacred swordsmith rank, equivalent to National Treasure recognition
