Nagakute-sumi Tachibana Kiyokane is a swordsmith from Aichi Prefecture, born in Meiji 40.
His real name was Tsutsui Seiichi, and he forged swords in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture, under the name Shiirosai.
Kiyokane is a descendant of Hosokawa Masayoshi’s son, Isogaya Jyusuke, or Isogai Jyuyoshitatsu, a samurai of the Okazaki Domain and a swordsmith from the domain in the late Edo period (1854), and Yoshitatsu’s son, Ryujoko Yoshitatsu. Born in 1907, he is a disciple of Kurihara Akihide, who served as a member of the Diet and trained many master swordsmiths, and is a disciple of Living National Treasure Miyairi Akihei.

Kiyokane and his father , Tsutsui Seiichi the First, Ichirobei Kiyokane served the Okazaki Samurai well.
