Japanese Samurai Sword Katana Daisho Set Made By Shimohara and Tadakiyo NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon
Wonderfull Daisho set katana and wakizashi are made by differend smiths.
Katana Mumei Shimohara (Tadayoshi school) also know as Shinto Shimohara from Musashi province
they made swords for the Hojo Samurai Clan, later for the Togukawa shogunate.
This blade is made around year 1560 and has kicho token papers (important work) .
Great Uchikatana Koshirae with gold metal copper fittings very nice dragon details.
Tokubetsu kicho papers .
Tsuba copper work and also signed.
Length Nagasa 69.1 cm
Sori is 1.9 cm .
