This is a nice original Japanese Imperial Naval Dirk (tanto).
Signed Sanekuni in the year 1941.
Sanekuni whas a student of Hori Toshihide during the war time.
This dirk is in original war time condition and was made for high ranking fleet officer.
Blade is in good condition and stil sharp and has a nice hammon.
The mountings are great in detail and fine made,the shakskin saya looks good.
Afcourse due time it has some little wear.
